| A hand-knit Beaver scarf anyone? This interesting shop offers a wide range of fashionable Paula Lishman fur yarns. The yarns are made from a unique process of cutting and twisting fur pelts into reusable yarn. Proprietor Janet Sheehey will not only sell you patterns and materials, but actually give you a lesson on how to knit with fur. If knitting is not your thing, you can select ready made items or order custom made fur knit hats, scarves and jackets. Most are knit from beaver fur with various fox, mink or sable trims. It also has a well-displayed inventory of brand name yarns, bamboo needles and hooks, sweater jewellery plus hand-painted and bone buttons. |

| This is Haliburton’s first and only winery. It is also Ontario’s first maple winery. What started as a hobby and a small maple syrup operation has grown into a unique winery offering over 20 varieties of fruit and maple wines. You must try its popular Golden Maple, Cran Maple and Maple Sugar wines; and visit its gift store selling maple syrup and maple products, as well as a large selection of interesting gifts for everyone.
